Without the original actors reprising these roles, 'Spaceballs 2' would likely lack what is needed for it to succeed. The addition of Lewis Pullman, Josh Gad, & Keke Palmer is also a brilliant move. In fact, before the new film is released, Universal Pictures has already announced a sequel to the live-action remake, which is scheduled for release on June 11th, 2027.
