    The Munster squad and management have begun their journey to Durban for Saturday’s URC quarter-final against the Hollywoodbets Sharks at Kings Park (5.30pm). A 32-player Munster squad will travel to South Africa while the matchday 23 will be confirmed on Friday afternoon. On the injury front, Jack Crowley, Diarmuid Barron and Niall Scannell have all been passed fit and are available for selection.

    Munster Rugby has today confirmed that it is continuing preparations for hosting a Champions Cup pool fixture at SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh in December 2025. Last Friday, the province confirmed their participation in next season’s Champions Cup after securing back-to-back bonus-point wins in recent weeks to finish 6th in the URC league table. The Club now advances to the URC quarter-final on Saturday week.

    Munster Rugby are pleased to confirm that Conor Ryan will join the club on a one-year development contract for the 2025/26 season. The second-row currently plays with UCC RFC in the AIL and came up through the ranks of Clonakilty RFC. Ryan has featured in Munster teams already this season, making his senior debut in last summer’s preseason friendly against Bath at the Rec while he played in the midseason clash against the Leicester Tigers at Welford Road scoring a second-half try.

    Munster secured a 30-21 bonus-point win over Benetton on Friday night at Virgin Media Park to secure a place in this season’s URC quarter-final and next season’s Champions Cup. A sold-out crowd in Cork cheered Munster on in what was Stephen Archer, Conor Murray and Peter O’Mahony’s last appearance at the Cork venue. Munster will now face the Sharks in Durban in the quarter-final on Saturday week.
