    Lebanon Police Officers responded to a business in the 800 block of Lynn Street this morning. ( Jan 7)  According to Police at approximately 10:37 AM, an employee at Compass Health, located in the 800 block of Lynn Street, reported that a 49-year-old male from Lebanon entered the building as a client and disclosed to his case worker that he was carrying loaded firearms. The case worker requested law enforcement assistance to ensure the situation remained peaceful.

    Effective Jan 2, Laclede County Public Water Supply District Number 1 has announced the hours of the district office will be changing. The office will continue to open for business at 8:00 a.m, but will now be closing at 4:30 p.m. This is a permanent change.

While only a few meters are without water service, and those customers have been personally notified, the broader system may temporarily experience reduced pressure. The break has been isolated, and crews are working diligently to restore normal service.
