    Budget airline Avelo will continue operating three bases in North Carolina following plans to partner with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration Customs and Enforcement agency (ICE) to offer deportation flights. Avelo announced earlier this month the airline has signed a partnership for a long-term charter program with ICE. The airline will open a base at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) in Arizona for the ICE operations beginning May 12, according to the airline.
