Recently, we started to wonder why there wasn't a travel or food magazine that thoroughly covered the Americas in a way that resonated with both American and Latin American readers. While some international newspapers and travel magazines featured occasional stories, most localized journalism stayed within its own region. For instance, a renowned Latin American chef's restaurant might get some attention, but if you wanted to learn about the farmers, fishermen, kitchen staff, winemakers, brewers, and conservationists who contributed to that restaurant's success, you wouldn't find much information. Apart from large American hotel chains expanding into Latin America, genuine local tourism stories were seldom shared. Many significant narratives remained untold. This is why we created New Worlder. Our platform moves beyond the usual top-ten lists and best-of compilations, providing a deeper insight into the diverse culinary and travel stories that surround us and influence our everyday lives. –The Founders
