You are bloody brilliant Nick. Over the last few days I've been wondering how much more of this I can take just like many hundreds of thousands of other Kiwis. What they have done to Māori, Pacifica, the disabled, the vulnerable, those who suffer from cancer, beneficiaries, our rangatahi and the public service has been just cruel, but this latest stunt from Brooke van Velden is to be honest, the last straw.

The point they miss is that at some point, MPs' earnings were set to apply, without discrimination, to men and women equally. That is why THEY don't get paid less (and fail to grasp other women's issues,) NOT because they have earned that right, any more than women still striving for recognition of equality of effort. ...I have retired with less than a man would have because throughout my career, I earned less than my male counterparts doing exactly the same jobs.
