    I do understand your comment but I never wanted the CoC government in the first place as many others here on the post comments proffer too, so for me it’s no overreach rather an extermination of bad politics affecting the poor, health, jobs, environment and infrastructure, not forgetting diplomacy either. The latest polls do nothing to convince me it’s what the public believe - it’s just a snippet - who do they actually poll!?

    Writing in The Post today was Janet Wilson, Todd Muller’s Press Secretary for the five minutes between Simon Bridges and Judith Collins when the National Party considered a return to being the party of conservative gentlemen farmers, it had long been. As we know, Muller froze in the headlights, and while Deputy Nikki Kaye did her best, no one else in the party seemed interested in helping her.

    Workplace Relations and Safety minister Brooke van Velden has announced major changes to the way that Workplace safety is managed in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her highlight policy is a road cone hotline. Engaging in useless culture war policies is obviously not below her. The net benefit to the country’s safety from this policy is zero. Fielding calls from people who think there are too many road cones is not going to improve work safety.

National, NZ First and the TPU/ACT all say the Greens free GPs and dentistry are unaffordable madness. Funny, I feel just the same about tax cuts for landlords. It’s all choices.
