As I start this article, I’m glad to say that I feel a lot better than I did when I wrote my last one. It took me a couple of weeks but I finally got my stomach issues straightened out and I’m completely on the mend. One night during my sick spell I had with my stomach, I couldn’t sleep because my belly was hurting. I tossed and turned in my bed all night long and couldn’t find rest at all.

Celebrities on some level have existed since Roman emperors pitted men against each other and beast in ancient times. It certainly was the case in more modern times with Elvis leading the charge for a generation. However obsessed ladies was with the pelvic thrusting dynamics of a Mississippi it pales in comparison to anything today’s world offers. I recently witnessed a fair amount of media platforms dedicating time to certain celebrities “unfollowing” other stars on the respective publications.

“Hey, you big girl!”  That’s how family friend Paul Powell greeted me every time he caught me out in the yard or over at Pap Earl J. Morris’ garage as he’d pull up to visit, trade, or get ready to head “around the ridge” to coon hunt. For years Paul’s greeting made me, “mad as a Jap,” as my old Pacific Theater of Operation infantryman Grandpa Fred Taylor was wont to say. Now I look back on the ribbing with a warm grin.

Have you ever had those moments in your life where it seems like something frustrating is always happening? If you’re like me, you probably have them a couple times a week. Sometimes, it seems like when it rains it pours. For example, this heat wave we’ve been in here lately has been draining the life out of me. I recently had to shell out several hundred dollars to get new tires for my car.

By: Chris Dooley As I’m sitting here writing this article, I’m getting over a very nasty stomach bug. One of the worst bug’s that I’ve had in a long time, I’ve spent the better part of three days now in the bathroom. It sure makes for some long days and nights, but thankfully I feel like I might be getting over it now. But since the stomach bug started, I’ve been doing a lot of laying around and taking it easy trying to wear out the symptoms.
