June 15, 2025 Last week the Rattlers (7-3) lost a heartbreaker to the Jacksonville Sharks 54-48, closing an unfortunate 1-2 road. They looked to turn their fortunes around at home against the Tucson Sugar Skulls (3-6). This was the third meeting of the year between the two, they split the first two matchups. The Rattlers got the scoring started when running back Ron Brown Jr. took it in from one-yard out to make it 7-0.

On Saturday the Rattlers got the ball first, and they took their first drive to a success, when RB Shannon Brooks broke free from 14 yards out to put the Rattlers up 7-0.

Head coach, Kevin Guy was less than happy previously over some reckless penalties, fumbles, dropped passes, and the play of special teams.
