Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ag Net Communications, LLC is owned by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, which acquired Ohio’s Country Journal and Ohio Ag Net from the Johnson family in 2020. The company was originally established in 1972 by Ed Johnson, who was a pioneer in agricultural communication, starting with daily radio reports for the ABN Radio Network and a weekly television program called Agri Country.

Known as B-Rock 100.9 WBNO and Classic Hits Q96.5 1520, the fire reportedly took responders from six towns to put it out. The building has been deemed a total loss. Thankfully, management of the stations report nobody was hurt in the fire and efforts are underway for a makeshift WBNO studio.
