This organization aims to equip the farming community in Ohio with essential information to enhance their profitability while also ensuring a fun and engaging experience through various formats, including print, radio, and online media. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ag Net Communications, LLC is owned by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, which acquired Ohio’s Country Journal and Ohio Ag Net from the Johnson family in 2020. The company was originally established in 1972 by Ed Johnson, who was a pioneer in agricultural communication, starting with daily radio reports for the ABN Radio Network and a weekly television program called Agri Country.
