Okehampton Times
The Okehampton Times is a relatively new addition to the Tindle Newspaper Group, starting its journey in 1976. Despite its youth, it has become a trusted source of news for the local community. Originally launched as a tabloid, the Times was first owned by Mirror Group Newspapers and then by West of England Newspapers, based in Plymouth. In 1984, it was acquired by Tindle Newspapers.
