The incident took place just before 9.50pm on Saturday, May 10 at the Spar convenience store at the junction of Bear Street and Boutport Street. The suspect is described as white, around five feet and six inches tall, slim and between 18 to 25 years old.

Police closed the road following the collision (DCP)POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s died in a crash with a lorry near South Molton. Also in the newsEmergency services were called to the scene on an unclassified road at Kingsland Barton at around 2.55pm on Monday, May 12. A black Honda Civic car and a brown Scania HGV lorry were involved in the collision. The driver of the car, a local man in his 20s, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Multiple calls were made to the fire service at around 2.28am this morning, Tuesday, May 13, reporting the first fire in Tiverton. “Originally it was unknown what was on fire but two fire engines from Tiverton and one fire engine from Cullompton were mobilised,” a spokesperson said. When they arrived, they found a vehicle “well alight”.
