    Chronic wasting disease has surfaced in another area of northeast Pennsylvania, months after the first confirmation of the disease in the region. The most recent case – a red deer from a captive deer farm in Wayne County – was confirmed by a U.S. Department of Agriculture lab on March 28 after it was submitted for testing on Jan. 20.
