    Delivery solutions provider DX has continued the expansion of its depot network in the UK with the opening of a new facility in Southampton. The 2,322m2  depot is located in Chandler’s Ford in Eastleigh, and replaces a smaller depot in Totton. It is the latest addition to the group’s parcels network, part of the DX Express division, and will improve operational efficiencies, reduce carbon emissions and enhance customer service levels, according to DX.

    Australia Post has improved the automation and efficiency of its international inbound parcel processing operations with the opening of a new International Commercial Facility at Sky Road, Melbourne Airport. The 2,500m2  facility features advanced automation technology to sort up to 6,000 parcels per hour and is the post’s first facility in Victoria designed specifically to expedite the clearance process for international parcels coming into Australia.
