Parkwood Entertainment is a dynamic entertainment and management firm established by the talented artist and businesswoman, Beyoncé, in 2010. Based in New York City, the company specializes in a variety of areas including music and video production, management, marketing, digital services, creative projects, philanthropy, publicity, and has recently launched its own record label, Parkwood Music. Originally named Parkwood Pictures, the company made its debut in the film industry in 2008 with the release of Cadillac Records, which featured Beyoncé as both a star and co-producer. Following that, it produced the movie Obsessed in 2009, where Beyoncé took on the roles of star and executive producer. Additionally, Parkwood Entertainment was responsible for producing The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour from 2013 to 2014 and co-producing the ON THE RUN TOUR in 2014.
