Sandals Resorts International (SRI) will open a new Beaches resort in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) as it expands its footprint in the Eastern Caribbean destination, says the company’s Executive Chairman Adam Stewart. The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) has green lit a license for Air Transat tooperate scheduled international flights between Canada and Brazil, as well as Guyana. The two separate decisions were posted on the CTA’s website on May 7. The CTA notes that it is “satisfied” with Air Transat meeting all the applicable requirements to operate flights to the destinations, stating that all terms and conditions of the arrangement have been met.
