New softening agents developed by masterbatch supplier Polyvel are designed for the efficient and cost-effective production of nonwoven polypropylene (PP) products with extra-soft surfaces. Small doses of the additives achieve effects ranging from simple, smooth surfaces to so-called “supersoft” products with an ultra-soft feel reminiscent of natural silk, according to Polyvel.

The AutoPacific Tariffs and Vehicles survey has found that the Trump tariffs will likely lead new car shoppers to adjust their purchase plans. The survey looked at people who are planning major purchases and found that one-third of the 2,000 respondents said they were planning to buy a new car. Of that group, 59% said that they intend to purchase a new vehicle, 27% plan to buy used, and 14% are currently unsure which way they’ll go.
