Main St. to the Pleasanton Housing Finance Corporation to facilitate the development of affordable workforce housing. The property, the site of the former elementary school, was purchased by the city in 2019. City Manager Johnny Huizar said the transfer allows the HFC to use the property as leverage for the project while ensuring the city’s general fund is reimbursed for the original purchase.
