Despite multiple decades without new strips, the siloing of all specials to Apple TV+ AND the vanishing of the newspaper as a suburban staple, the characters still remain as beloved and recognizable as ever. The test of time is hard to pass, but eternal loser Charlie Brown has scored the kind of win that most other “winners” cannot.

Fireshine Games and Dino Rocket have announced their monster collecting game, Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers, has officially launched into 1.0 after months in Early Access. Odds are you know what to expect from something with “mon” in the title. You will be hunting, catching and training dozens of monsters, while collecting and storing hundreds more, to be sure. There’s even a thing called a “Kadodex.” But this is a mons game that adds roguelike elements and randomly generated environments.

Tron: Ares is here…literally. The first released trailer from Disney confirms what’s been a rumored premise for months: Programs are escaping into the real world. Cops are in pursuit of a speeder on the highway, but there’s not much they can do when it turns out to be a light cycle whose wall carves their car in half. You may not know how to pronounce the name of the latest Gundam TV series (it’s pronounced GEE QUACKS for the record), but you’ll be able to go back to the beginning soon when Kodansha releases Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ORIGIN Stateside in a new Deluxe Edition. In 1979 Yoshiyuki Tomino and Hajime Yatate published the very first Gundam story. Later, artist Yoshikazu Yasuhiko adapted it into a new version where many of the scenes were rendered in full color.
