Indie director Douglas Burke was proud of his feature Surfer: Teen Confronts Fear and worked hard to get it into the traveling theater circuit. Inspired by the bioshock series, the game was a first-person horror puzzler about a retired animator who receives an unexplained invitation calling him back to the studio he once worked for. When he arrives, he finds things VERY different…no one’s around, except for the paranormal presence of the Ink Machine, which is going to make life hard for him.
