Good morning from Porte’s hometown of Martinsburg, West Virginia where we’re expecting good dog walking weather today. Some sunshine is the forecast and highs are expected to be in the low 40s. Our Ornery Dog Jasper likes things on the cool side and I do, too. I’ve got another in the series of letters that Porte wrote while touring Europe as a young man — well before he became Porte-famous.

Good morning from Porte’s hometown of Martinsburg where the weather this week hasn’t been great for dog walking. It’s been wet, but I’m not necessarily complaining. Thanks for reading The Porte Crayon Applejack Society! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. I wasn’t wearing shorts Wednesday night, though. I was sitting in my car sporting jeans and a light jacket to ward off the chill. I was also trying to maintain my customary equilibrium.

Good morning from Porte’s hometown of Martinsburg, WV where the highs are expected to rise into the low 50s today. No rain to speak of but the forecast is calling for breezy conditions, so it might feel a little cooler. Just the way November should be … That video I shared last week — you watched it, right? On second thought, don’t tell me. Let me have the delusion that you’re enthusiastically engaging with each email I send as if it’s Christmas morning and you just tore the wrapping off the BEST.
