Power Progress
The KHL Power Division originated in 1935 under the name Diesel & Gas Turbine Publication Group. It has since evolved into a leading source of information for various engine-powered equipment sectors, including on-highway, off-highway, stationary, and marine markets. In January 2018, the division was acquired by KHL Group, a prominent global construction information publisher based in the USA. This acquisition led to the establishment of the KHL Power Division, which has since expanded its range of products and services. Today, the KHL Power Division produces several publications, including Power Progress, Power Progress International (formerly known as Diesel Progress and Diesel Progress International), and COMPRESSORTech2 magazines, along with their associated websites. They also offer guides like the Power Sourcing Guide and the COMPRESSORTech2 Sourcing Guide, along with industry newsletters such as the Power Briefing, which provides daily market updates. Notable annual events organized by the division include the Power Progress Summit (previously Diesel Progress Summit) and the COMPRESSORTech2 Hydrogen Summit. KHL Group, with its headquarters in the UK, operates as a diversified global media company, excelling in various industries. Its portfolio includes 16 magazines, numerous websites, events, exhibitions, market research, industrial training, content creation, marketing, and data services. The company has a workforce of over 100 employees and maintains offices in the UK, USA, EU, South America, China, India, and Turkey.
