Danfoss has launched its Thorx CLM 12 T cam lobe motor for construction machines which use rubber track drives. Joining the CLM 8 S and CLM 4 S motors, the CLM 12 T is said to offer ease of machine integration and a longer working life. The CLM 12 T motor uses a symmetrical design that supports better space utilization and easier installation. Additionally, the rotating flange is located at the center of the unit, allowing the motor to make full use of the track width.

The eLion portfolio of products from Bosch Rexroth is intended to support the electrification of off-highway machines. The range already includes high-voltage equipment, but at Bauma 2025 the company has unveiled a series of new, low-voltage equivalents. The 96 V motors and inverters can be used in drives for material handling equipment, municipal vehicles and other machines with lower power requirements.

Parker Hannifin has presented its new T8Mini medium-duty, fixed displacement vane pump at the Bauma construction and mining trade show in Munich, Germany. Intended for small and medium machines that require hydraulic power, the e-pump delivers very high operational speeds and high pressure at low displacement volumes. The unit uses the same Denison vane technology which featured on the T7 model, while adding new features to deliver a quiet and efficient unit optimised for electric systems.

ABB has presented the new HES580-3L mobile inverter for the off-highway market at Bauma 2025, which is being held in Munich, Germany from April 7-13. The new model features three-level topology. Where a two-level model can only switch between plus (+) and minus (-), the three-level model can switch between plus (+), minus (-) and zero (0). As it switches between + and -, a two-step model creates a ripple in the current wave form.
