    Which riders have the highest average points per season throughout their Supercross career? To answer this question, I will be looking at points percentage per season due to differences in points structure and differing amounts of rounds per year throughout Supercross history. This will allow relative comparison as it wouldn’t be very helpful comparing a 17 round season vs the early SX seasons with just several rounds.

    We are 10 rounds into the 2025 Supercross season which gives us a good sample size to look at qualifying data over the course of the season and compare it to other seasons. Since 2003, we have seen qualifying times trend closer and closer – with some minor fluctuations here and there. Here is a chart visualizing this:Important to remember the 2003-2006 times are the best times collected from practice sessions – not official qualifying times.

    Seattle was a little more exciting than last week right? Just when you thought it would be a muddler, the SMX track crew did god’s work by keeping the track great all night. We had one of the toughest tracks of the year Saturday night but it could have been so much worse if it wasn’t for the Dirt Wurx guys! Since we normally shit on them, why don’t we say “great job”!     Another Triple Crown has come and gone and even though it wasn’t the most exciting race we’ve seen this year, the 450 points chase is closing down and now we have something to look forward to as fans down the stretch. Let’s break down some stuff that I witnessed or heard from Saturday evening. Chase Sexton: I found out last week that Chase has been doing less “tinkering” on his machine and more of learning to deal with those flaws in certain parts of the track.

    After Ken Roczen was the fastest qualifier in Indianapolis this year, this was Roczen’s 16th career pole position in 450 Supercross. However, Ken Roczen has only converted one pole position into a win in 450 career.
