A fallen tree means that the West Coast Main Line is blocked this morning, meaning delays and cancellations for passengers. Network Rail is on site between Carlisle and Lockerbie, trying to make the line safe, but until then, trains may be cancelled or revised. Disruption is currently expected until 2 pm today. Avanti West Coast services are starting/terminating at Preston (Lancs) and means that the likes of Oxenholme Lake District, Carlisle and Edinburgh / Glasgow won’t be served.
