Despite the highest number of listings in years, buyers remain cautious. The decline was slight: Existing-home sales—a measurement of completed transactions on single-family homes, townhomes, condos and co-ops—dropped by 0.5% in April compared to March. April sales were down 2% compared to a year ago, the National Association of REALTORS® reported Thursday.
