Vernon RCMP is continuing to investigate an alleged assault that took place on Sunday, May 4. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m., after reports of an assault in the 8700 block of Okanagan Landing Road. According to a statement from the victim, a man was riding a scooter along the road when a blue SUV pulled up next to him. Two individuals got out of the vehicle after a verbal exchange and proceeded to physically attack the man, knocking him unconscious.
