The northbound lanes of Harvey Avenue in Kelowna will be closed for a couple hours on Thursday night (April 17) as a result of a multi-vehicle crash. At least two vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred at Harvey Avenue and Burtch Road around 6:30 p.m. One of the vehicles was flipped onto its side. It's unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the crash. Kelowna RCMP, fire crews, and emergency services are all at the scene.

The Illecillewaet Greenbelt Society (IGS) hosts its first-ever cleanup from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, inviting locals to band together and spend a few hours delittering any part of the greenbelt or wider city they desire. The team to collect the most trash wins an undisclosed prize.
