Sanilac Broadcasting
WMIC and WTGV-FM are part of the Sanilac Broadcasting Company, based in Sandusky. WMIC first went on the air at AM 1560 in 1968 and switched to AM 660 in 1987. The station features news and talk shows during the day, with country music offered in the mornings and evenings. WTGV started its broadcast journey in 1971 as WMIC-FM and rebranded to WTGV in 1979. Initially, it played beautiful music and easy listening tunes, but over the years, it has transformed to focus on mainstream soft adult contemporary music.
