I don’t think Leighton Woodhouse listens to America This Week with Matt Taibbi and Walter Kirn. If he did, he would not claim that Taibbi and Kirn haven’t been hard enough on the Trump administration for speech violations. They have. His hit piece on Matt Taibbi, whom he says he has “respect” for and calls a friend, before launching into a tirade about how Matt has sold out, is a victim of audience capture and has only Conservative and MAGA readers.

It took me a while to become so disgusted with Springsteen that I couldn’t listen to his music anymore. I had to become disillusioned with the dream of the Left, which I did. I had to realize that hatred of Trump, screeching endlessly in public, was spitting in the face of those who voted for him, many of them, who made Springsteen rich, and I did. Finally, I had to accept that the guy singing those songs about going down to the river or driving muscle cars didn’t exist.
