Security Council Report

The mission of SCR is to promote transparency and improve the effectiveness of the UN Security Council. We aim to do this by providing timely, balanced, and high-quality information regarding the Council and its subsidiary bodies. We bring together stakeholders to enhance the analysis of the issues the Council faces, as well as its methods and performance. We encourage interaction between the Council, all member states, and civil society. Additionally, we support capacity building on the Council's practices and procedures by offering assistance to new members and conducting various training programs. SCR is an independent and neutral organization that champions transparency without taking sides on the issues being discussed by the Council.
