SF Station is a local guide focused on the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California, emphasizing arts and culture, entertainment, dining, shopping, and city life. Established in 1996, SF Station features an event calendar, a directory of businesses, and reviews on movies, music performances, restaurants, retail stores, and various events. In 2005, SF Station joined forces with the Boulevards network, which is a prominent operator of travel and destination information websites. In April 2015, Boulevards sold SF Station back to one of its original co-founders, Vincent Archuleta.

California concert promoter Goldenvoice led the multi-million-dollar renovation project of the venue, a venue that was built back in 1909 with Scottish Rite architecture, blending Neoclassic and Beaux-Arts styles. The venue comfortably accommodates up to 1,400 people, with a grand ballroom decorated by 22 teardrop chandeliers.
