SinoVision

SinoVision (美国中文电视 in simplified Chinese; 美國中文電視 in traditional Chinese; pinyin: Měiguó zhōngwén diànshì; Jyutping: Mei5gwok3 zung1man4 din6si6) is a Chinese language television network based in the United States, established in 1990. The network operates two 24-hour digital channels that serve the Greater New York area: Channel 24.4 for Chinese programming and Channel 24.3 for English content. Additionally, the SinoVision Chinese Channel can be found on Cable Channel 73 within New York City. The company's headquarters are located in midtown Manhattan, with additional offices in various cities, including downtown Manhattan, Flushing, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston. SinoVision's key program is the SinoVision Nightly News (中文晚间播报), which airs for an hour on weekdays and for half an hour on weekends. Other regular Chinese programs include the SinoVision 30-minute Evening News (中文晚间快报) and Financial Reports (中文财经). The 24-hour English Channel features seven original programs that focus on news, language, culture, and education, aiming to enhance understanding of Chinese culture among Americans, both within and outside the Chinese community. SinoVision collaborates with CCTV, International Channel Shanghai (ICS), and Beijing TV for some of its productions and occasionally broadcasts programs directly from these networks. Furthermore, the SinoVision Chinese Channel includes English language shows such as Cosmo Times and W.E. Talk.
