The Seattle Times is a daily newspaper based in Seattle, Washington. It holds the title of the largest daily newspaper in the state and boasts the highest Sunday circulation in the Pacific Northwest. Since the closure of the printed Seattle Post-Intelligencer in 2009, it has been Seattle's sole major daily print newspaper.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy formally approved plans Wednesday to set up a new international court to prosecute senior Russian officials for the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Trump administration declared on Wednesday that the California Department of Education had violated federal law by allowing transgender girls to compete on female sports teams. It gave the state 10 days to reverse its policies or face “imminent enforcement action.” The administration has argued that when schools recognize transgender identities, they violate girls’ rights under Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination.
