KkwillTuesday at 1:23 PMThere is a lot of truth to what you have written. I'm a former ski school director and have traveled extensively to ski here in the States, Canada, and Europe. I am an upper-level cert and know from experience that if I want a meaningful lesson, I ask for a level III PSIA, Canadian, or maybe, by chance, get a level IV Canadian for the best experience. A good lesson at a big mountain will be pricey, and I want the best that I can afford.

Most every sport has some type of practice machine. Tennis and football have ball launchers, baseball has pitching machines. So why not skiing? Ski simulators have been around for decades in one form or another. There have been ski decks since the 1970’s that were used for freestyle training and exhibitions, many are still used today at facilities likeSimulators, they are not new. Pilots use them for commercial/private planes as well as the military.
