Black Rock Coffee Bar has opened its first Colorado Springs location in the Marketplace at Flying Horse, a new King Soopers-anchored shopping center in the city’s far north end. The store officially opened Feb. 13. Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2008, Black Rock has grown to about 150 corporate-owned stores across seven states. Its existing locations in Castle Rock, Denver and Littleton helped to pave the way for this expansion into the Pikes Peak region.

This marks the brand’s first Springs location. The small Colorado chain has five existing restaurants along the Front Range in Denver, Boulder and Parker. Nana’s has built a following for its handcrafted dumplings, bao buns and classic soups.
