That’s where 18-year-old Steamboat Springs resident Jesse Hamric died on the 4th of July, from an electrical shock in the water.

The firefighters are taking a Type 3 Engine and they’ll be gone for two weeks. Once they get there, they’ll get assigned to an area to watch for any wildfires that may start up. It’s a day for some important meetings.

Hamric died on July 4 from some sort of electrical shock in a lake in Virginia, where he was vacationing with his family.
