A new show to delight petrolheads is coming to Suffolk next summer. Vauxfest, which was previously held in Northamptonshire, will take place at Stonham Barns Park in Stonham Aspal on June 22-23. The Mid-Suffolk showground already stages a wide range of car shows as part of its annual events calendar. The latest addition to its programme will include a display of Vauxhall, Bedford and Opel cars, trucks and vans.

Two-times Brit Awards winner, Becky Hill is set to make her Newmarket Nights headline debut next summer. News that she will perform the big outdoor show on Friday, August 9 follows previous announcements that JLS and Busted would also be performing at the popular concert series next year. Dance-pop star Becky is no stranger to the racecourse, having been a special guest vocalist with Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics in 2019.

Pop-rock sensations Busted are set to thrill thousands of concert-goers at Newmarket Racecourses next summer. The multi-million selling trio, who reformed in 2015 after a decade apart, are the first band to be confirmed for next year’s Newmarket Nights concert series. The Jockey Club’s Newmarket Nights programme combines an all-action evening at the races with a spectacular night of live music, with recent headliners including Bastille, Anne-Marie, Olly Murs, Pete Tong and The Script.

A Suffolk mum who beat breast cancer has shared how a cuddle with her children saved her life. Julie Kerridge, 44, originally felt a lump in her breast in 2018 and has shared her story in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The mum-of-two was cuddling her kids when she noticed a lump on her chest - prompting her to get it checked out. Her GP was unsure, but referred Julie to a consultant at Ipswich Hospital who sent her to have a mammogram and ultrasound scan.
