Costain, the infrastructure solutions company, has been selected by Storengy UK to design the Keuper Gas Storage Project (KGSP), an underground hydrogen storage facility in Northwich, Cheshire, UK. The facility will consist of 19 salt caverns together with hydrogen treatment, compression, dehydration, and transfer facilities, and Costain’s multi-disciplinary engineering team will deliver two front-end engineering and design (FEED) contracts to support its development.

Woodside Energy and PETRONAS, through its subsidiary PETRONAS LNG Ltd, have signed a non-binding Heads of Agreement (HOA) for the supply of 1 million tpy of LNG to Malaysia from 2028 for a period of 15 years. The LNG would be supplied from Woodside’s global portfolio and may include the recently approved Louisiana LNG project in the US.

It's situated on the second floor of the terminal’s new Integrated Control Building (ICB), which opened in late February. ConocoPhillips built the ICB after a cost-benefit analysis revealed that refurbishing the Central Control Building, which housed the original control room, wasn't a feasible option.

Bergen Tankers and Equinor have signed a long-term charter agreement for two oil/chemical tanker newbuilds with an electric propulsion system, which aim to set a new standard for low emissions at the Norwegian Coast. The Norway-based companies selected Berg Propulsion as the system integrator for these DNV ice-classed tankers. The newbuild 6500 dwt stainless steel tankers will be built by Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding in China.
