TelevisaUnivision, previously known as Univision Communications, is a media company that operates in both Mexico and the United States, with headquarters located in Miami and Mexico City. It owns Univision, the leading Spanish-language broadcast network in America. The Mexican media giant Televisa owns 45% of the company and serves as a key programming partner for Univision. Established in the early 1960s as the Spanish International Network (SIN), which was the first Spanish-language television network in the country, the company has focused on serving the Hispanic and Latino American communities. Today, it has evolved into a multimedia conglomerate that includes broadcast cable, digital platforms, and audio networks, operating 65 television stations along with various online and mobile applications.
