It’s arguably one of the best time of the year as a sports viewer. Every single night, there’s some high-intensity battle going on that gravitates everyone towards the edge of their seat.     I hate to say it, but I’ll be honest here. Is anyone even excited for this? I, of course, am talking about the NBA Finals that’s set to begin this Wednesday night. That statement comes with a facetious tone obviously. It’s the finals, of course it’s time to get excited if you’re a true hoop head who can’t get enough of basketball. It’s arguably the best time of the year for those who truly love the sport of basketball. That won’t change anything in those people’s minds.

    This is when it really gets exciting. It really doesn’t matter who’s at the dance, as long as the rhythm is correct. Some may call the final four teams left in the NBA Conference Finals boring. Aside from New York, and oh boy we’ll get to them later, the rest of the remaining field is littered with historically small-market franchises. The most historic franchise remaining beside the Knickerbockers is Indiana. No disrespect to the Pacers organization but like, come on man.
