This is arguably the most optimistic time of the NFL calendar for every single fan. The start of training camp? Sure, but that’s also unfortunately usually cut short by some sort of significant injury to an impact starter. Week 1? Oh yeah, up until three hours later and your favorite team sits at 0-1 for an entire week if they lose. Nothing can stop hope beaming from the draft though. It’s that time.

Hundreds of people are expected to attend a public gathering on Saturday, April 19, hosted by fiber artists from Athens County at the Cannabis Museum in Canaanville to celebrate the annual marijuana cultural holiday of 420 Day. The Cannabis Museum is located at 16050 Canaanville Rd. in Athens.

March is finally over, but there’s still just a bit of madness left to get through. Well, not really this year. Seriously, what is the point of this giant, completely oversized tournament if nothing exciting is going to happen? Every single No. 1 seed made the final four. Kudos to those programs and schools for pulling through, but that’s incredibly boring. Just throw the top four onto a football field and call it the playoffs. Wait, that’ll never work, you need 12.
