The vehicle struck the pole just past 9 p.m. in front of the Stop & Shop gas station at 125 West Main St. Barnstable Police and Hyannis Fire responded to the scene at 9:07 p.m., and both occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital after suffering significant injuries from the crash.
