Ray Donavan Phillips, 37, Bolton High School Graduate and former Fed Ex employee passed away May 16, 2025. Ray is survived by his beloved son Carson, his father and mother Donavan and Terri Phillips, his sister Emily Phillips, grandmother Freda Clark and Aunt Bonnie Clark. He will be so greatly missed by all and will always be in our hearts. He is now resting in Gods arms.

She was an educator for Bartlett High School and served as the curriculum writer, and publisher of the Pantheon as well as being the sponsor of the writing club. Elizabeth passed away April 19, 2025. Being Historical month, we found this poem to be relevant for then and now.

On May 22, 2025, at approximately 5:45 pm, members of the Bartlett Police Department were involved in an Officer-involved shooting stemming from an incident that occurred in the area of Kate Hyde Blvd and Highway 64. During the encounter, the suspect, while armed with a knife, attempted to stab an officer, at which time officers fired their weapons, striking the suspect. Emergency medical services responded and transported the suspect to a local hospital.
