    On April 9, Pack 439 from Ellendale United Methodist Church paid a visit to Station 1. They got to visit with the crew and have a tour of the station and equipment. One of the scouts, Matthew Arp, had a much more serious visit 5 years ago when he wasn’t feeling well. After being evaluated by Paramedic Sonny Harrison, now retired, Matthew was taken to LeBonheur by his parents where they were told he had a form of leukemia.

    BARTLETT – Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, located at 2986 Kate Bond Road, will host a stroke support group for patients, caregivers, and family members on April 15th at one p.m. in the hospital’s Magnolia Room. The group will offer attendees the opportunity to meet other stroke survivors and caregivers, learn how to manage and overcome new challenges, and share resources. This month’s focus will be the importance of physical and occupational therapy in stroke recovery.
