The Vermont State Police, St. Johnsbury Barracks is actively investigating a series of retail thefts that have occurred at Market 32 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Troopers have determined that two unidentified female suspects are believed to be responsible for stealing merchandise from the store on at least 18 separate occasions. Photos of the suspects are attached. The Vermont State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals.

Kasey (left) and Ozzie Shiver didn’t march, but like many onlookers, they brought their own flair to the occasion. Most of the sizeable crowd gathered to watch the parade followed it to Gardner Park for a moderate amount of oratory and much more music, food, and socializing.

by Joseph GresserGLOVER — The 802 Spirits shop at Currier’s Market here has been doing business for a while, but on June 18, a delegation from the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery stopped by to formally launch the store. There wasn’t a bottle of champagne to smash over the bow, but Ray Sweeney, who with his wife, Jessica, owns Currier’s, did wield an oversized pair of scissors to cut a red ribbon. Liquor and Lottery Commissioner Wendy Knight congratulated the Sweeneys and store workers.
