The Bowdoin Orient
The Bowdoin Orient serves as the student newspaper for Bowdoin College, located in Brunswick, Maine, USA. Founded in 1871, it holds the title of the oldest college weekly in continuous publication in the United States. In March 2007, the Orient was recognized as the second-best tabloid-sized college weekly at an Associated Collegiate Press conference. Additionally, in 2014, The Princeton Review ranked it as the 15th best college newspaper, making Bowdoin the smallest institution and the only liberal arts college to achieve a spot on that list.
