Bristol Eastern’s baseball team broke a lengthy losing skid with a 9-3 victory over Conard on Thursday. The good vibes did not continue, however. The Lancers then lost to Northwest Catholic on Thursday by the score of 13-1. The Bristol Eastern baseball team broke their eight- game losing streak with a 9-3 victory at Conard on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bristol Eastern boys track and field team traveled to West Hartford to face Conard on Thursday. The Lancers drove home with a satisfying 90-58 victory. Eastern was led by Jose Guzman, Cole Beland, and Brendan Tartarelli, who each captured three firsts on the day. Lincoln Bashaw collected two firsts to add to the victorious total. Eastern improves to 3-2 on the season. The boys look to keep things rolling at the Lancers’ final home meet against Avon on Wednesday, May 13.

The 15-year-old juvenile who was previously reported missing has been located, the Bristol Police said in a statement Friday night. Kenneth Rivera was located Friday, May 9, around 8 p.m.In the report, The Bristol Police thanked the community for their assistance and concern in lolcating Rivera.
