    Since our launch in late April, we have accumulated 45,000 subscribers. There’s a huge appetite for our compelling, human-centric reporting from Ukraine, especially given the decline in mainstream coverage of this war. But here’s the problem: relatively few people are paying for our journalism, despite the work we put our heart and soul into producing — and under stressful and dangerous conditions. Since June 1st, less than three percent of readers have converted to paid subscriptions.
