Ke Huy Quan, who played Short Round in Steven Spielberg movie Indiana Jones an the Temple of Doom, has revealed he still gets a present every year from the esteemed director. In a profile for The Guardian, Ke Huy states Spielberg has kept a watchful eye over the adventure movie star. “He gave me my first job and, so many years later, he has not forgotten me,” he states.

Growing up, one of my favourite Christmas movies was the 2000 live-action adaptation of Dr Seuss’ beloved Yule tale How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Seeing Jim Carrey embody the holiday hating green creature who cursed the Whos of Whoville was a yearly tradition that always made me smile. However, after recently re-watching the fantasy movie, my nostalgia had to face reality – How the Grinch Stole Christmas isn’t the festive classic I always thought it was. That’s right.
