The Herald is released every Wednesday and is currently published by EO Media Group, previously known as the East Oregonian Publishing Company. The newspaper has a circulation of 2,039. The cost is $5 for ages 11 and older; and free for ages 10 and under. To ensure an accurate meal count for in-person and takeout meals (pickup at 11:30 a.m.), call 541-567-3582 by 11 a.m. Also, Meals on Wheels is available in Hermiston.

According to the Library of Congress, Pride Month is celebrated each year in June. The first Pride marches were held in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago on June 28, 1970, marking the first anniversary of a series of events between police and LGBTQ protesters at The Stonewall Inn, New York. Pendleton’s inaugural Pride Month event was held in 2000.

However, before I settled in with a bowl of popcorn, I conducted a Google search about the eight-episode series. I was familiar with Keith Hunter Jesperson, a serial murderer dubbed “The Happy Face Killer” in the early 1990s.

Fourth St. The literary magazine features the works of 17 authors, as well as visual arts from a photographer and a painter.
