    Shakshuka is always a good idea. It’s a one-pan meal that, at its most basic, brings together simmered tomatoes and eggs. It’s both impressive and comforting, a perfect back-pocket dish worth learning by heart. Serve it when you have company over for brunch, make it for a first home-cooked date, or consider it for family dinner on a random Thursday. And, at this time of year, it’s a great meal for Eid and Passover. Shakshuka is also endlessly customizable.
