In an encapsulating display of Olympic-level athleticism, The Oracle’s managing editor and a copy editor faced off in an 800m race at the South Turf Field on April 23, ending a feud of nearly two years. Copy editor Kyle Bredberg claimed at a party in his first year with The Oracle that he could beat Emily Clayton, who was then the news editor.

Every now and then, I find myself returning to the video my friend in the backseat recorded of me slamming my hands down on the dashboard and saying “yes” repeatedly.

SUNY New Paltz’s Absolut A Cappella and The Sexy Pitches took to the stage at Studley Theatre on April 5 with three other student-run vocalist clubs hailing from different New York universities for Absolut’s annual invitational. The “evening in the garden,” as it was referred to on Absolut’s Instagram, saw singing from New Paltz’s all-gender acapella group, Absolut A Cappella, and campus’ only all-treble acapella group, The Sexy Pitches.
