I’ve touched on this topic before, but wanted to add a few fresh ideas to the mix. And a quick reminder—never show up empty handed when someone has you over. Be sure to check out the previous posts too—there’s no overlap here. We love going in on a hostess gift with another couple or two so we can give something more substantial. And if you don’t have time to order anything, a bottle of wine and dessert is always a solid move.

Happy Sunday! In case you missed our event last week, Alex Mill is extending the 20% through June 11th with code RC7MZ3GPK4. I sized up two sizes in these denim shorts for a lower waisted look. Memorial Day sales are overwhelming, but a few standouts are worth noting. I’ll keep it short and sweet—promise. MyTheresa has sale up to 40% off. My mom ordered this beautiful top. This one and this black dress are perfect addition to your event wardrobe. A lot of Nour Hammour pieces are included too, like this stunning leather trench and this chic suede one. Net-A-Porter sale up to 50% off.

I’ve been spending more and more time here on Substack and less on Instagram lately (as I’m sure you’ve noticed). There’s something so refreshing about stepping away from the mindless scroll and instead choosing to read and create with intention—without the pressure to keep up every single day. It feels more natural, less competitive, and I truly appreciate all of you for being here. The Ray List is a reader-supported publication.
